Access Granted (Scene 8)

Overall Impression: To be honest this was one of my favorite scenes, finally people of color could have a voice. This scene wasn't confusing just short and informative.

Quote: "The Los Angeles Daily News, Wednesday, November 8, 1944. Headline: District Court of Appeals decides in Sleepy Lagoon murder case... boys in pachuco murder given..." (pg.87)

The Press was mentioning the Los Angeles Daily News Headline which the appeal was granted for the Sleepy Lagoon trial.

Question: How long does it take for the District Court of Appeals to decide in a decision for an appeal?
